Founded in 1975, Christian Help, Inc., a United Way Agency, is dedicated to uplifting the less fortunate in north central West Virginia through social programming that includes free clothing, emergency financial assistance, emergency food orders, a furniture exchange and advocacy as needed, all in the spirit of Christian love and service. We strive to reach out to those in our community who have been traditionally left out of the richness of our society and embrace them with the presence of Christian compassion as well as an opportunity for success in our economy. It is our belief that the elimination of poverty from our area does not have to be a dream, but that it can be realized through the dedication of individuals and groups who share in our vision, act upon it and continue to pray for its achievement.
