Provides temporary emergency financial aid for help with apartment/house/mobile home lot rent payments and rental deposits, mortgage payments, utility bill payments, minor car repairs, furnace and appliance repair, and prescriptions.

Can also provide $25 Giant Eagle food cards.

Payments are a maximum of $200, although client is not guaranteed to receive maximum amount.

Money goes directly to the creditor, not to the client.

Does not provide ongoing assistance. Funds are very limited and subject to availability.

This is a program of last resort - applicants must have exhausted all other sources of help.

Serves Adults 18 and older; residents of Chagrin Falls Twp., Chagrin Falls Village, Bentlyville or Moreland Hills will receive preference.

However, will serve those who cannot receive assistance from Geauga County Job and Family Services or United Way Services of Geauga County and who live in Bainbridge Twp.

Must have an immediate need and be able to show the ability to make future payments, and otherwise demonstrate how this assistance will resolve the situation.
