Description
A federally-sponsored and state-funded program that provides financial assistance (up to $13.50 per month) toward the cost of basic phone service for low income households that have an established phone line and are participating in any of the following programs:
- Federal Public Housing Assistance / Section 8,
- Food Stamps,
- Medicaid,
- Low Income Home Energy Assistance (LIHEAP),
- Supplemental Security Income (SSI),
- National School Lunch (NSL), or Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).
