COMMUNITY HOMEBUYER PROGRAM offers down payment assistance, closing costs, and rehabilitation for the purchase of single-family homes to low-income families in Rock Island, Henry, and Mercer counties.

Loans carry 0% interest. Loans subject to recapture conditions but are forgivable after a maximum 10-year period.

Mandatory homebuyer education and pre-purchase counseling.

Homebuyer must contribute $1,000 to purchase.
