Des Moines Area Community College provides full-time and part-time educational programs up to two years in length in 70 different career education programs;

• 13 paraprofessional career programs for which college credit is given;
• a full range of freshman and sophomore college courses;
• adult and continuing education programs, including career short courses, adult basic education, high school completion for students of post high school age, and many other part-time classes throughout the district.
