FBCRN was started in 1997, by two breast cancer survivors who recognized the need to create a clearinghouse of information about breast health and breast cancer, and related topics for Floridians.

FBCRN believes that women diagnosed with breast cancer have a right to know all their treatment options, whether it be conventional, alternative, or complementary.

They are dedicated to insuring that all women receive the best available treatment, regardless of income or insurance status.

FBCRN does not accept donations from companies that may pose a conflict of interest to FBCRN s policy of putting the interests of breast cancer patients first, such as companies whose policies may not be in the best interests of patients or, that create products which may contribute to the incidence of cancer.
