Description
Statewide social service agency provides
- assistance and disaster services to people with emergency needs;
- school readiness programs;
- summer camp;
- after school homework centers;
- youth groups; senior programming; and homeless assistance services
Elegibility:
Families in Bloomfield, East Hartford, Hartford, Newington, West Hartford, Wethersfield, or Windsor who are at risk of becoming homeless due to reasons such as a fire, eviction notice, or because the town has condemned their dwelling.
NOTE:
The purpose of this program is to keep individuals and families in their housing; it is not for people who are now homeless.
Hours of operation:
24 hr/7 days Call M-F: 8am-4pm for appointment; Self referral or agency referral
