Overview:
In an effort to slow the spread of HIV/AIDS, WAAO offers prevention education programs including age appropriate curricular for ages pre-school to college, as well as to civic and social clubs, churches and other groups.
They provide a wide array of educational brochures and pamphlets to the public at no charge.
They also distribute condoms and other prevention materials to the public.
Finally as part of our outreach efforts, we offer free counseling and HIV testing both at our office and in the field.
Social workers work with clients to provide rental assistance, medication assistance, food, transportation to medical and dental appointments, and case management services.
