Todd Baird Lindsey Foundation

The Todd Baird Lindsey Foundation was established in 1997 to provide direct or indirect assistance to indigent, elderly individuals living in the greater Carlisle area (including the Boroughs of Carlisle, Mount Holly Springs, and Newville and West Pennsboro, Dickinson, Middlesex, South Middleton, North Middleton, Penn, Lower Frankford and Upper Frankford Townships) for housing, nutritional, medical, social and psychological needs. The creation of the Foundation resulted from the sale of the Todd Home and Retirement Communities in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. The assets resulting from the sale and the Sarah A. Todd Trust fund were combined with those of the Lydia Baird Endowment, the Margaret M. Lindsey Fund and several other small endowments. The Foundation, comprised of these entities, fulfills the original intent of Sarah A. Todd - to support the needs of senior citizens in our community. ..
